Since 1997 the Foundation has made annual gifts to the library from the interest earned on the endowment. Some of these projects have included:

• Annual support for Growing Readers, a program that provides a book and early literacy information for every family giving birth at Providence Newberg Medical Center

• Enhanced the collections in the areas of science, geography and classic literature

• Made improvements to the Carnegie Room

• Provided support for the expansion and remodel of the Children's Room

• Purchased new lounge chairs for reader comfort

• Reupholstered all the chairs and benches upstairs

• Supplemental funding for technology enhancements

• ·Binding of the historic copies of the Newberg Graphic newspaper to preserve them for future research

• Providing funds to support continuing education via the LinkedIn learning platform

Today, the Foundation continues to grow the endowment to fund programs and services such as those described above.
